Spring Cleaning

I found the most wonderful lavender tulip beads in a small plastic baggie wrapped in twine and pushed against the wall behind my crafting table this weekend.  This is what I made:

Land of Kush

This past Friday, The Land of Kush, had it's official grand opening. I was intrigued by the fact it is a vegan soul food restaurant. I didn't have any expectations, but I was really impressed by the flavors. I will definitely go back for more! The menu is small, but I usually find that to be a good thing! I already have my next meal picked out: vegan ribs, candied sweet potatoes, and peas and rice. Yum!

Eric and I cleaned downstairs. Amidst the cat hair tumbleweeds I found the first stuffed animal I made! Roar!!! I wish I could find his little felt popsicle!
